My project is going to be about the Heywood archery course and I choose it because I am a resent member and it is a good family and community activity for almost all ages. I am going to be researching the archery course by asking the club president and I will research at home at the course and at school. I will be doing my project on the computer and in Microsoft power point. I am going to take photos of the course and some of the shooters on my digital camera and put them on the power point presentation.

Brenton and Aiden

Our project is going to be about Brenton's and Aiden's farms. We are going to get pictures and information from our farms.
Because we wanted to share what we have with the rest of the people.
We are going to research it with photos and the history of the farms.
We will research the project on the two farms. We will conduct our research on the weekends.

D'Arcy

Dear Karen,
I'm D'Arcy Crossley and I want to do my project on My Farm, Werona. My project will take the form of a scrapbook on PowerPoint. I will take pics of our calves, siblings, and a few kangaroos, maybe a koala and a possum. I have chosen my farm because it is the place where I will live for most of my childhood, I can interview my other siblings who are in Prep, grade 1 and 5 and I love my house. My favourite place is the bush outside our house and I go there often. I'm very proud of my home and I hope that I can share it with the whole world.
Thanks Karen
From D’Arcy.

Dear D'Arcy
That sounds like a fabulous project - make sure you include your own experiences - your story of living on the farm and the importance it has played in informing the person you are would be a very wonderful stiry to share with others. Remember to place teh study into context - for those who dont know the area well it would be great to have a sense of where your farm is on a map of the local and regional area.
Great work.
Cheers karen

Hi Stephen - the archery association is something quite unique - and would be a great focus for your study. It would be useful to found out who attends- the age of the members/users and let us know about why your enjoy using this facility.
Regards karen

Hi Brenton and Aiden - another farm study!! Fantastic- remember to include lots of images with text so we get a feel for the key characteristics of your farm. How you use you time - what do you do to help out - support the farm. Interview your parents/grandparents to find out the history of the farm - highs and lows and why it is an important part of your family and the community. Rember to use maps so we get to see where they are. A map of the farm with associated images (like a photogrid) would be great to help us get a feel for the landscape aspects. Rememer to include your own personal stories - you role in teh farm and also how you see it being part of your life in the future.
Cheers Karen

Ashlee and Jess

Hi Karen
This is Ashlee and Jess and we are doing our project on our farms. Ashlee's farm is 994 acres and Jess's farm is 450 acres. So we want the world to know about how different farms work. You can have a dairy farms, cattle farms, sheep farms, horse farms etc. We would like to share our information with different types of people that don't know much about different farms. We will research this project by going down the farm on the horses and taking photos that let people know more about our farms. Our Mums and Dads have both kept helpful information that would come in handy. The varieties of animals on our farms are: a horse, calves, bulls and cows, cattle dogs, cats, ducks, guinea pigs and a rabbit.
