growing up in cities weblog

Growing up in cities is a local-global weblog where children and youth can share their ideas, concerns and research about the places where they live, work, play and engage in the world. Evolving from the global UNESCO Growing Up In Cities project - a local-global environmental education and research project that has been ongoing in over 20 countries around the world - its aim is to create the opportunity for young people to share the knowledge they are creating in their individual research sites and compare similarities and differences. The webblog is monitored by Karen Malone the Asia-pacific Director of Growing Up In Cities and is open to any young person who is interested in cross-cultural and transnational exchanges as a means for creating a better world for children and youth.
